MEB Audit Drive is a private administrative utility used by the operator of Middle East Brief to prepare structured records of published news and store audit snapshots in an authorized Google Drive account.
What the application does
- Exports already-published news metadata and editorial text from the operator’s own publication database.
- Uploads JSON snapshots to a designated Google Drive folder.
- Helps the operator inspect publishing history and review potentially repeated or related news items.
Google Drive access
The application uses Google OAuth and requests the limited drive.file permission, allowing it to access files it creates or that the user specifically makes available to the app. It does not request blanket access to all documents in the user’s Drive.
This is a private internal tool. It does not provide public registration, accept public uploads, or offer accounts to visitors.
